Baby blue Swallowtail

I just finished my Swallowtail shawl - and aside from one misplaced stitch, it is perfect! I took the advice to replace the purl 5 together nupps (my addis were not sharp enough for this!) with the slip 3, knit 2 together, pass 3 over, and it worked just fine.

I highly recommend this pattern for someone who wants to knit lace and never has. It is a fairly small shawl - mine measured a little smaller than the dimensions in IK. The yarn is so inexpensive (I had 17 grams left over from the one 50 gram ball) and comes in so many colors!

How beautiful! I love that baby blue. I'm glad the nupps alternative worked out for you. It just seemed an easier way to me.
