I added a set of repeats (recommended here), but it's still teeny. I blocked it pretty vigorously, but it's still kinda small. I'm glad I added the repeats!
I love the yarn--it's Malabrigo laceweight. The color variations are really pretty.
THE SHAWL PATTERN CAN BE FOUND IN THE FALL ISSUE OF INTERWEAVE KNITS 2006.

Very beautiful!!!
Gorgeous! I love the subtle variegation
Did you intend to link when you said "recommended here" or did you mean on this website? I would love to find a way to expand the swallowtail. I saw the post on doing 19 budding lace repeats, I just wasn't sure what to do from there. Thanks for any help, your shawl is beautiful!
Hi to all!: I am starting the budding lace (chart 2) and got stuck in row 7, I got 45 sts at the end, I supposed to get 43, since the pattern increases 4 sts every other row to the edging. I am having a hard time trying to read the pattern since I am confuse how is the repetion done.
I hope you can help me,
Thanks a lot!.

very well done. where did you get the design from..i would like to make one.
Hi, I love your beautiful shawl. I need to be steered in the right direction with this patter. I'm having the same difficulty as Anamdiazarte. I get to 39 sts ok and then my next row I have 45 sts. I cannot make sense of how the repeats work at all. I would appreciate your help. Hugs from Scotland. Rita xxx
