Lily of the Valley Border 1

I finished working the Budding Lace on Tuesday and last night started the Lily of the Valley Border 1 last night..... The photograph doesn't really show anything too well. The yarn is beautiful to knit with, very soft but a lovely even yarn; no lumps or bumps. I have decided that once the shawl is finished I am definitely going to over-dye it in a pink as it's far too busy....

Ive never done any yarn dyeing, so you can change the color once your done, thats great, sometimes I see funky colors of good brands really cheap, so I could dye those then too? a darker color of course right? Interesting!!

you have to be careful when overdying, you have to test with samples of yarn or it can come out a muddy mess... As for dying yarns to dye, you'll need to check the content as acrylic yarns may or may not take as dyes are specifically targeted at certain fiber types, but it's always worth investigating...
