THE SHAWL PATTERN CAN BE FOUND IN THE FALL ISSUE OF INTERWEAVE KNITS 2006.
I'm e-mailing the spreadsheet to you. I color the rows that I've completed so that I know where I stopped last.
You weave in the ends, but don't trim them until you have blocked. That way they don't pull out or pucker while blocking.
For the lifeline, just weave it into the live stitches that are on the needle and leave several inches hanging on each side so it doesn't accidentally pull out.
