My 2nd Swallowtail Shawl

Knitting is addictive as it is, but knitting triangle shawls are even more so. I have more or less stopped knitting anything else!!

Here's my 2nd Swallowtail again, using the handpainted 100% wool lace yarn from Handpainted Yarn.

Even hubby was impressed!

Oh, it's beautiful! Both the colour and the work :)
I ask: Why shouldn't your husband be impressed?

Well done :D

Lovely shawl and lovely colour (sorry if I am repetitive). What colorway did you use?

I've been wanting to start this pattern for a while now. As soo as I started I ran into trouble and ran to my computer, googled the swallowtail shawl and found this site. I must be missing something, but where do you increase and what do you do with the "no stitch" on the chart?
I feel really stupid.

Thank you all for your compliments. I am pleased with the result, too.

Blaggdama:
My hubby did not realize bobbles can also be knitted, that's why he was impressed. :)

Morgana:
The colourway is Cadmium LC from Handpaintedyarn.com. But am not sure if they still have them.

Lynn:
The increase is done with the YO's at the beginning, center and at the end. The No Stitch (greyed out area) is exactly as what it says. Just ignore them, skip them altogether to the next stitch.
For example, Row1: k2, yo, k1, yo, k1 (center stitch), yo, k1, yo, k2.
Hope this helps.

I'm soo tickled to see this blog in place!! Hope it's not too late to "play"!! I'm finishing up a Flower Basket Shawl today and plan to move on to the Swallowtail with what's left over.

that is gorgeous! I am not usually a fan of yellow, but that color is just amazing.
